1:  What are your personal thoughts about what he did?  (4 sentences.)
I think what he did was a form of evil genius. And the way he made it work is beautiful in its own way. It disgusts me that he did it for money. However, that is the best way of robbing someone of their money.
2: What is someones role in this world if they are gifted with an genius like talent? (4 sentences.)
He is an artist. He is an artist at replicating other artists techniques. I wouldn't call him original. But the way he can get into their head and make their paintings is insane.
3: If you were gifted with one genius quality talent what would you wish it were...                                                    and what would you do with that talent? (4 sentences.)
I wish it was a quality to have a genius brain for soccer, a mind that knew exactly what to do and where to put the ball. That would be great. I would do it to create art though my favorite sport.

-What about this piece strikes you?
-What is the point of interest of the piece?
-jHow does this image influence YOUR VOICE as an artist?

This piece strikes me because it is extremely vast, and beautiful.
The point of interest is the sky, and ocean.
This image influences my voice through the way it shows the ocean, and the kayakers.
I wouldn't change anything about the picture

I have always enjoyed photography and art and I wanted a fun and interesting class to take!
I want to learn how to navigate my camera and how to take certain kinds of photos.
I want to maybe pursue movie directing, so this could always help with that.
As a teacher you can help me by showing me how to operate my camera.

Artist Statement

I learned many things in 2d Art this year, a lot about actual art technique and new ways to make art, yet they were not the most important things I learned. The most important thing I learned was how to express myself as a person through my art better in this class. Two pieces that showed I learned how to do this better are on my blog; my oil pastel (earth day) fauvist painting, and my watercolor final from the first semester.
I made good enough art during first semester, my best piece being my watercolor, which showed a multitude of different color schemes, but it wasn't my best piece. My best piece was my Oil Pastel piece, also called the earth day fauvist piece. My piece was abstract and different, and that is one of the reason's Mr. Scheele chose it to go to the Mayor's luncheon. My craftsmanship, or the ability to put my ideas to paper as I envisioned them, was superb on this piece. Since this worked so well on this piece I was able to show and describe my voice much easier. Since it was an earth day piece, I had trash covering the fiery sky, showing what humans are doing to the earth, and the pain of the earth. My inspiration often comes from my experiences in my everyday life, and my emotions and reactions towards them. My art expresses this in every piece I create. Everyday influences come into play heavily in my pieces. I manifest these influences by focusing on expressing my voice in my work. A central theme of my work, can only be described in one work, Revealing. My art is revealing because I show all of my everyday experiences, emotions, thoughts and feelings into the piece. I truly believe you can find out more about me through my art then through meeting me, sort of like Picasso's blue period, where you can feel the sadness through every single one of his pieces. I want my audience to take away my personality, my essence, from my pieces. That is the ultimate goal of my art, because the art survives, not the artist.
